Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the website www.inspectthathome.com or booking any services provided by Inspect That Home LLC, a subsidiary of Solar That Roof LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our site or scheduling an inspection, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Inspect That Home LLC provides residential property inspection services in the Greater Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area, including but not limited to:
- Standard home inspections
- Radon testing
- Mold inspections and air quality sampling
- Sewer scope and crawl space evaluations
All inspections are conducted by licensed, certified inspectors in accordance with ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) Standards of Practice and InterNACHI guidelines applicable in the State of Georgia.
2. Booking and Appointments
Appointments are scheduled through our online booking system powered by GoHighLevel. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:
- You are the property owner, buyer's representative, or have legal authority to arrange an inspection of the subject property
- You will provide accurate property information including address, year built, and approximate square footage
- Appointments are subject to inspector availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed via email
- Each appointment is scheduled as a 3-hour block; actual inspection duration may vary based on property size and services selected
- A maximum of three (3) inspections are scheduled per day; we prefer two (2) bookings per day to ensure quality
- Appointments are spaced a minimum of two (2) hours apart
3. Payment Terms
Payment for services is processed through PayPal. By making a payment, you agree to the following terms:
- Payment is due from the time of booking confirmation through the day of the scheduled inspection
- Inspections will not be conducted without confirmed, completed payment
- Your order number (provided in your confirmation email) is required to process payment on our site
- Prices are based on property square footage as published on our pricing schedule
- All prices are in US Dollars (USD)
- PayPal processes all transactions; we do not store credit card information
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- 48+ hours before appointment: Full refund issued
- 24–48 hours before appointment: 50% refund or full credit toward a future booking (client's choice)
- Less than 24 hours / same day: No refund issued
- Rescheduling: One free reschedule permitted with minimum 24 hours' notice. Subsequent reschedules may incur a $25 administrative fee.
- Refunds are processed through PayPal and may take 3–5 business days to appear on your statement
Important: Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to service@inspectthathome.com or via your GoHighLevel booking confirmation link. Phone cancellations are not accepted as the sole form of cancellation.
5. Scope and Limitations of Inspection
Home inspections conducted by Inspect That Home LLC are visual, non-invasive assessments of accessible systems and components of a property at a specific point in time. Our inspections:
- Are not code compliance inspections and do not serve as a warranty or guarantee of any system or component
- Do not include inspection of areas that are not accessible, visible, or safely reachable
- Do not include testing of every electrical outlet, appliance, or mechanical component
- May not identify latent, concealed, or intermittent defects
- Are performed in accordance with ASHI Standards, which define both what is included and what is excluded
Our written report reflects conditions observed at the time of inspection only. We are not responsible for conditions that develop or change after the inspection date.
6. Liability Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by Georgia law, the total liability of Inspect That Home LLC to any client for claims arising out of or related to an inspection shall not exceed the fee paid for that specific inspection service.
We are not liable for:
- Consequential, incidental, or punitive damages of any kind
- Conditions not visible or accessible at the time of inspection
- Third-party contractor estimates, repairs, or remediation costs
- Decisions made by the client regarding property purchase, sale, or renovation based on the inspection report
7. Report Delivery and Use
Inspection reports are delivered digitally to the email address provided at booking, within 48 hours of inspection completion. Reports are prepared for the exclusive use of the client who commissioned the inspection. Inspect That Home LLC retains the right to maintain copies of all reports for its records.
Reports are not transferable to other parties without written consent. Sharing reports with buyers, sellers, or agents involved in the subject transaction is permitted.
8. Free Re-Inspection
We offer one complimentary re-inspection of specific items noted in the original report, provided that a licensed contractor has completed repairs to those items and documentation is available. The re-inspection must be scheduled within 90 days of the original inspection date. Re-inspections are limited to previously reported items only and do not constitute a full new inspection.
9. Data Collection and Privacy
By using our website and booking services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Data submitted through our booking forms is transmitted to GoHighLevel, our CRM provider, for appointment management purposes.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in DeKalb County, Georgia.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at service@inspectthathome.com.
11. Modifications to Terms
Inspect That Home LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted to this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website or services following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
